today is the Day of Silence. for those of you that don't know, it's a day where anyone can participate in. Gay or Straight. you go around all day at work or school and you, get this, are silent. it's a silent protest to raise awareness about gays/lesbians that get bullied and harrassed at work or at school. the silence symbolizes the silence that gays/lesbians/transexuals/bisexuals are forced into when they are being harrassed.

as you could probably guess, i participated.

at track practice though i decided to quit. it was after school and i was the only one that made it past the bell and then some. everybody else either broke the silence or talked a little one time but decided to keep silent the rest of the time. Apple almost made it. but then at 2:34 she just HAD to talk. i don't blame her. i almost talked in 3rd hour. i didn't though. i did however hit dillon in the head for almost making me talk. i said sorry later though. he forgave me.

it was okay for the most part though. it was kind of a pain having to write lots of things down. i think it'd be easier to have known sign language though.

on a completely off-topic note. i'm in a coffee shop w/ wi-fi internet and there are people talking about Jesus. it kind of bothers me. i don't exactly know what they're saying but they've been talking about Jesus and getting saved and how to save others and praying since (at least) when i got in here. there's nothing wrong with them though. but Jesus freaks are, well, just that. kind of freaky. especially towards me being with the fact that i'm Jewish.

yet anyways.

i just thought i'd put up a post about how i didn't talk for a whole school day straight. some of my friends are losing money on me. heehee. :D
